Shape this journey Example route Days 1–4 Arrive in George in the Western Cape, where you will stay at the luxurious Fancourt Hotel & Country Club. Enjoy golf on the Fancourt estate, take day trips to Wilderness, Plettenberg Bay and Knysna, indulge in some retail therapy or soak in the breathtaking scenery for which the area is renowned.
Days 5–14 Depart George and drive along the coast to Cape Town, staying in a luxury apartment at the Onyx Hotel near the V&A Waterfront. Ride the cable car up Table Mountain, visit Robben Island, take a day trip to Hermanus for whale watching, see the Boulders penguin colony in Simon’s Town, play more golf, explore Cape Point and enjoy wine tasting in Stellenbosch.
Days 15–18 Fly from Cape Town to Hoedspruit, where you will be transferred to Becks Safari Lodge at Karongwe for your Big Five safari. A typical day includes time by the pool and wildlife safaris in open vehicles before breakfast and dinner, with the option of visiting Kruger National Park or God’s Window.
Day 19 After breakfast, transfer to Hoedspruit Airport for your flight to Johannesburg and onward journey home.
